So this is officially my first blog. I don't know that it will be all that exciting....mostly because my life isn't all that exciting.
So here is the short story of my life. I'm a hoosier(person from Indiana). After getting a degree in education I got the heck out of indiana and settled down in Los Angeles to begin my teaching career. My best friends in the worls live in LA so the move out there was thrilling and fulfilling. Teaching for LA public schools was a challenge to say the least, but looking back I wouldn't change that for anything.  I know that teaching is what I am meant to do...even after that experience I still want to and love to teach kids.  In 2008 I met an amazing man who I am now married to.
So based on the name of my blog, you can tell that the guy I married is canadian. So now I live in Canada.
I guess in short most of my posts will be about what life is like for an American moving to Canada.  The 2 countries aren't far away from each other, but they are crazy different. After 6 months I am still adjusting.

Don't really know if anyone will read this, and if not sometimes it's just nice to listen to music and send my thoughts out there into the cosmic void of the internet.
